Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy

Therapy that does not try to make you neurotypical

I provide neurodivergent-affirming telehealth therapy for ADHD and autistic adults and teens anywhere in Ohio. I am neurodivergent myself, so we skip the part where you translate your brain for your therapist.

Who this is for

  • Adults who suspect or recently learned they are autistic or have ADHD and are re-reading their whole life through that lens
  • Teens who are exhausted from masking at school and unmasking at home
  • People whose executive functioning challenges keep getting mislabeled as laziness
  • Anyone burned out from a world built for a different operating system

How I work

  • We work with your brain, not against it. Sessions can be structured or wandering, cameras on or off, stimming welcome.
  • I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, strength-based work, and executive functioning support, adapted to how you actually process.
  • No behavior charts, no compliance goals, no treating your neurotype as the problem to be fixed.

Fees

Sessions are $100 for 50 minutes, paid through Ivy Pay (cash, credit, debit, HSA, or FSA). I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. Details on the fees page.

Questions people ask

Do I need a formal diagnosis to start?

No. You do not need a formal ADHD or autism diagnosis to work with me. Self-identification is a valid starting point, and we can talk through whether formal assessment would be useful for you.

Do you diagnose ADHD or autism?

I can assess and diagnose within my scope as a counselor, and I will tell you plainly when a psychologist's full evaluation would serve you better, for example for school accommodations or medication decisions.

Is telehealth actually workable for neurodivergent clients?

For many of my clients it works better. You are in your own space, sensory environment under your control, no waiting room, no commute. If it is not working, we will notice together and adjust.

Not sure if I am the right fit? That is exactly what the free consult is for.

Fifteen minutes, no pressure, no paperwork. You ask questions, I answer honestly, and if I am not the right therapist for you I will help you find someone who is.
